President Obama has accomplished an enormous amount in a very short time, especially considering the obstruction of our appallingly self-serving GOP-run House of Representatives. That would be the same Republican representatives who planned-- on Inauguration night, even before Obama took office-- to block everything the president put forward in order to sink his presidency. At any cost. At the expense of the health and welfare of their fellow Americans.
Yet, as Rachel Maddow says in the video, this has been a "presidency of historic consequence." Obama is "one of the most consequential presidents in modern American history."
Today is a big f'ing deal.
