Michele Bachmann accuses Santorum staffer of sexism; he questioned whether a woman could be president

Ruh-roh! Team Bachmann has accused Team Santorum of sexism (as she has accused others before) after having seen an email that dates back to early last summer (via The Des Moines Register):

Rival presidential candidate Rick Santorum’s Iowa coalitions director, Jamie Johnson, sent out an email saying that children’s lives would be harmed if the nation had a female president. He wrote it in June, but it surfaced on the campaign trail in the fall.

“The question then comes, ‘Is it God’s highest desire, that is, his biblically expressed will, … to have a woman rule the institutions of the family, the church, and the state?’ ” Johnson’s email said.

Johnson said the email was meant to be a private message to a friend, that he sent it from his personal email account, not his campaign account, and that he hadn’t intended it to be read by anyone else.

Michele deserves an apology from Ricky and Jamie Johnson should get the boot, says Pete Waldron, her ex-Faith Outreach Director, but Johnson says it's much ado...

Via HuffPo:

Pete Waldron, a former adviser to Michele Bachmann's presidential campaign, called the email 'a sexist strategy'.

The GOP drama, it never ends. Nor does the sexism.

But the GOP loves women!! Women who are young, dress provocatively, work in their offices, and are willing to have sex with married, Christian perverts, that is. Heaven forbid an intelligent woman runs for office. Look what they did to Hillary, to Michele Obama, and look what they are doing to Liz Warren...all women with more national experience and more common sense than any man in the GOP...so let'smake sure we denigrate them for their looks.
