VIDEO: Poor GOP Rep. Fleming! “By the time I feed my family, I have, you know, maybe $400,000 left over.”

Chris Jansing: “If you have to pay more in taxes, you would get rid of some of those employees?”

Fleming:

That’s right, he never answered her question. Instead, he offered up the same old tired right wing talking points.

As President Obama said, “It’s not class warfare, it’s math.”

Think Progress has more.

You want to know how much I have left over after I pay the bills and fee the family, I usually only have 1.00 in my account. I would love to have 400,000 leftover just to do whatever with! Not to mention that I tried calling this man’s office today and was told that he did not share the same views of the Americans who are struggling out in America and then I was hung up on. I cannot believe that these Tea Party members actually got voted into office and I think it is high time that we got out the vote and put people in congress who REALLY care about hard working, struggling families ACROSS the nation !

If he’s so worried about money, he could sell raffle tickets to see who gets to kick him in the balls really hard.

I’d like to see a bill that proposes all elected officials pay and benefits be frozen at no more than 150% of the national median income.

After all we all must sacrifice, eh?

I’m sure the people still not in housing after Katrina feel really sorry for the million dollar baby.

Another Republican out of touch with reality. I would like to see him trade places with someone in the poor or middle class, lime in the movie Trading Places.
