They seem to think public assistance is some kind of party. People JUST LIKE THEM need public assistance, but this is a concept beyond their ability to understand. Just in case it isn’t, maybe if they thought about THAT, the fact that you can to EVERYTHING right, and STILL be homeless, on welfare, HOPELESS, they would flap their pie-holes a little less. I know, I know. Expecting them to think with compassion is a far too Christian thing to expect from the GOP… || PS: Yes, you can infer that I’m saying there is no longer an identifiable distinction between Republicans and the Teaparty; They ARE the same now.

Let me tell you what I get in assistance, as a person who is disabled now: 200/mo foodstamps, 197/mo cash, medicaid that does not cover most prescriptions w/ many restrictions on services. Oh yeah, it’s a whole lotta fun. BTW, before my accident, I was making over 50k/yr and paid 30% tax rate, so I don’t feel bad about accepting these services, b/c I PAID for them.
