Yesterday it was this "Here we go again": 5-year-old killed, woman wounded when assault rifle “went off.”
That was in Oregon. Today, the AP is reporting that this happened in Louisiana:
[A] 16-year-old boy was shot and killed in what another man described as an accident that happened while showing off a new rifle.
The boy was hit in the neck, and the 23-year-old who allegedly admitted firing the gun was booked with one count of negligent homicide.
He was "showing off" his brand spankin' new assault rifle. We can safely conclude that the teenager who he killed was not impressed.
