Quickie: Goldman Sachs VP changed his name, advances Goldman lobbying interests as top staffer to Darrell Issa

Guess he thought nobody would notice. Via Think Progress:

Has Rep. Darrell Issa (R-CA) turned the House Oversight Committee into a bank lobbying firm with the power to subpoena and pressure government regulators? ThinkProgress has found that a Goldman Sachs vice president changed his name, then quietly went to work for Issa to coordinate his effort to thwart regulations that affect Goldman Sachs’ bottom line.

So when will they form an oversight committee to oversee Darrell Issa’s Oversight Committee?

no reason to wait til morning I won’t be sleeping tonight thanks to a thought like that. You would think they would be done with scandals by now, you would think they would lay low for a minute. It’s almost like republicans are so addicted to the corruption that they will take what they can while they are allowed. And as long as you call Obama a socialist and scream no new taxes for “job re-locators” you get a free pass.
