CSPAN got a screen grab of the moment:

As I watched the debt ceiling deal pass in the House of Representatives, this Moment of Happy tweet came my way:

First...

As you can see, she voted yes. I watched with tears as she got a huge round of applause, hugs, and all around love from her fellow House members. She beamed, she waved, she was animated, moving normally, and walked around. It's utterly remarkable and heartwarming. He hair was very very short, she was wearing glasses, and responded as if nothing had ever happened.

This woman was shot in the head and managed to recover and return to her job because it meant so much to her, despite a brutal, sick attempt to end her life.

(CNN)–Arizona Rep. Gabrielle Giffords entered the House chamber Monday. According to a tweet from her account she "Has returned from Washington to support a bipartisan bill to prevent economic crisis.

At last count that I saw, 95 Democrats voted against the bill. UPDATE: Here's how they all voted.

Brought tears to my eyes. She's clearly thinner and weaker and walks unsteadily -- but hell, by all rights she should be dead.  The amount of recovery is amazing in this brief time, I had to remind myself that the shooting was this year, not last.  I wish her nothing but well.
