From the Morning Joe Blog-

Statement from MSNBC:
Mark Halperin's comments this morning were completely inappropriate and unacceptable. We apologize to the President, The White House and all of our viewers. We strive for a high level of discourse and comments like these have no place on our air. Therefore, Mark will be suspended indefinitely from his role as an analyst.

Statement from Mark Halperin:
I completely agree with everything in MSNBC’s statement about my remark. I believe that the step they are taking in response is totally appropriate.

Again, I want to offer a heartfelt and profound apology to the President, to my MSNBC colleagues, and to the viewers. My remark was unacceptable, and I deeply regret it.

I think that joe scarborough ought to be the one suspended.  He TOLD Halperin that he was on the delay and egged him on.  I'm pretty sick of msnbc kissing the backside of that big mouth know it all joe and getting all over everyone else.  Why is joe so special?  Frankly I don't watch much of the show unless joe is on vacation or gone for some reason.  But my husband happened to have it on when the incident in question occurred.  Once joe starts blabbing there is no shutting him up.  But for some odd reason msnbc lets him get away with whatever he wants.  Puzzles the heck out of me.

Yet another rightwingnut victimized by those evil librul media goons.

Halperin will be the next big star over at that fair and balanced network.

How shameful that MSNBC's outrage seems to concentrate solely on Mark, what about Joe and Mika? Both seemed to find great humor and pleasure in Mark's comment, only showing concern as it pertained to getting caught. In addition, there is Mika's very strong, unprofessional repeated threats to the technician for his in ability to delete video of Mark putting his foot into his mouth, how is this appropriate? To add, what company allows a supervisor figure (Mika) to refer to themselves as "Mommy?"

Once a daily viewer, I now find this show, "Morning Joe" not only insulting, but doltishly ignorant, based too many times on fact-less talking points, with today hitting a new low as host delight in vulgar childish name calling, followed by a supervisor threatening a subordinate.

Boy.... what a ridiculous, out of control zoo.... what's next?

    I say YAY!

Now I didn't even know that there was a dust up, so to speak...BUT, we HATED him on ABC and were shocked to see him at MSNBC.

Good bye...Good riddance...Next stop (odds?) FuxsNooseChannel.

Any minute now, there will be a shrill, indignant statement from a Fox bloviator proclaiming the deplorable tactics of MSNBC in stifling free speech and the constitutional rights given to us directly by God and his Baby Jebus, and after all, that's what Ammurica is all about, dadgummit.
