HuckaLie will still be viewed as that good ol' folksy guy who tells it like it is. Via Taegan:
Said Huckabee: "One thing that I do know is his having grown up in Kenya, his view of the Brits, for example, very different than the average American."
However, Huckabee did say he believes Obama was born in the United States "because I know the Clintons well, and believe me they had lots of investigators out on him, and I'm convinced if there was anything they could have found on that they would have found it, and I promise they would have used it."
Actually, Obama was born in Hawaii in 1961 to a mother from Kansas and a father from Kenya whom he would barely know. He spent his youth in Hawaii and Indonesia and did not visit his father's homeland until 1987, well after his father's death.
But as long as you, HuckaWinkWink, say you "believe" the president was born in the good ol' U.S. of A., all is okay then. The official not-stamp of approval. Move right along.
Of course, it was important to point out that Obama is "very different than the average American" in oh so many ways. He's just not one of us, and Huck is here to make sure we're all very well aware of that.
On to the next talk show.
