UPDATED- Hoax? Scott Walker booed, asked to leave local restaurant

UPDATE, via the original blogger. Please go read the whole thing:

I was wrong. Yep. The screw up was all mine. Not because it never happened, but when it happened. I had heard this all from a friend but the date was utterly wrong. All of this took place in the week before the protests even started and there are witnesses to this event. (This from someone who only wishes to be known as "a credible source".)

UPDATE #2: A few pertinent remarks by the original blogger of this report. Please go read. Meantime, I left a voice mail at the restaurant, but I agree with Naomi Houser, they must be swamped with calls. I expect no response.

UPDATE: Now we're being told this was a hoax. I hate when that happens. If this is the case, my apologies for falling for it.

Suh-weet:

[A tavern] in Madison, WI confirms that on Friday night, Patrick Sweeney (one of the owners) politely asked Scott Walker to leave the establishment when other customers began boo-ing him. A bartender at The Merchant said that, "his presence was causing a disturbance to the other customers and management asked him to leave."

I won't link directly to the restaurant because, along with enthusiastic support, it is also getting threats. I'm sure those are from the very wealthy, lazy, hammock-swinging, resort-lollygagging, ungrateful union thugs who utterly resent all the anti-Walker passion (obvious sarcasm).

Here's hopes that this is just the beginning of the more intimate side of public scorn that Walker will experience... peacefully, of course.

Walker: The rejected weenie of Wisconsin.

Added: I have no idea if this photo is by Terry Border or not, but happy to add his name to the post just in case.

I added the link just in case. I have no idea where we found that one, but was more than happy to link over.

That picture IS awesome, but it looks an awful lot like the work of the incomparable Terry Border (http://bentobjects.blogspot.com). Otherwise, it's a tremendously skilled imitator. Either way, some sort of attribution is called for, and I can't see why none is listed, and no ownership is claimed.

I think that things are starting to get a tad out of hand with respect to progressives and liberals. The kochsuckers(I'm not gonna call them teabaggers anymore simply because it seems a bit lame, but kochsucker seems more apropriate), republicans and neoconservatives have been acting sillily(is that a word?) from nearly the start, while pretty much everyone who even leans liberal has tried to maintain an even keel. Yes, up to Giffords being shot, things were getting out of hand, and all concerned seem to have been making at least the attempt to tone it down. We don't need to act as childishly as they have been acting. Stories like this which prove to be a hoax do not help us in any way. And really, Walker is doing enough damage to himself and the cause of kochsucker politicians as it is.

Did you see that I was just kidding? (the "obvious sarcasm" paranthetical) Of course they're from RWNJ, etc. Not union members who are clearly not wealthy.

Actually, I suspect the threats the restaurant is getting are not from wealthy types but from RWNJs and Tea Party activists who are middle class or even lower middle class and don't have enough sense to realize where their personal economic self interest lays...
