Photos- President Obama Gets Really Into Reading “Where The Wild Things Are”

Just too adorable, more photos here, video of the whole family reading a different book here.

Now, if you'll bear with us, we're having a very necessary fundraiser; please help TPC continue to do what we do:

If we are one thing here at TPC, it’s being up front. We need to raise funds so we don’t have to worry about expenses for the next three months, both for site upkeep and our own mounting bills.

2012 will be a hugely busy (election) year, and we intend to dedicate all of our time to bringing you the latest breaking news (and humor, snarkitude, videos, commentary)… which means not having to worry about basic things like heat and food, what with Mr. Laffy being out of work in two weeks and both of us chronically unemployed and completely devoted literally 24/7 to TPC.

You can donate at any time by using the PayPal donate buttons in the sidebar (now with requested WePay!) and below, or if you need a snail mail addy, feel free to email thepolicalcarnival@gmail.com.

In addition, if anyone wants to sponsor us for three months with an ad in the sidebar, please email Paddy. Since it’s an election year, any ad will be getting increased views.

Without donations, we have no Political Carnival. We have no way to fight for you, for our principles, or just to make you laugh from time to time.

Please, though, never forget that we truly appreciate you guys with or without the donations. Every single day.

Donate to The Political Carnival using WePay

The ChipIn widget isn't working for some reason, I'll try again later.

Whow, I almost forgot!!! We're doing something special this time around and giving away three of our brand spankin' new TPC t-shirts to random donatees!! We'll throw everyone in a hat, or pick random numbers, or have an octopus pick, and let you guys know when the fundraiser is over. (You can't even buy these yet!!)

So, be the first IN THE WORLD to sport your Political Carnival t shirt, drop a little coinage in the kitty!!!

LOVED the roll, all the little kids all over the place, alot of them looking to PBO for directions, then when it was over all these kids on the handshake line screaming "OBAMA, MR OBAMA". Don't remember that happening at GWB's Egg Rolls. Live streaming of other activities going on at the Roll here.

2012 White House Easter Egg Roll is biggest yet

FacebookTwitterRedditDiggStumbleUponTumblrLinkedInPinterestEmailShare

There's going to be some tired kids on Monday!.

Hollywood actors, gold record singers, championship athletes, and every kind of cartoon character imaginable.

The White House Easter Egg Roll on Monday is likely to be the biggest in the event's 134-year history.

Celebrity guests include actress Julianne Moore, who recently played Sarah Palin in an HBO movie; Forest Whitaker, who won an Oscar playing Idi Amin; and singer Rachel Crow, who will sing the national anthem.

The White House said that 30,000 people from all 50 states and Washington, D.C., have received tickets to the event via an online draw. They will be admitted to the White House for two-hour shifts throughout the day on Monday.
