Bill O'Reilly Excoriates Fellow Fox News Boobs

Rivera OReilly

Bill O'Reilly of The O'Reilly Factor generally doesn't mince words. He misuses them. He misconstrues them. He even abuses them. I'll go so far as to accuse him of lying from time to time. So it's certainly amusing when he chooses to sum up his fellow blowhards on Fox News Network. He gave his assessment of his cohort noisemakers to Fox stalwart Geraldo Rivera last night and it was covered by The Daily Beast:

Answering a question from fellow Foxer Geraldo Rivera—does the right-leaning network cut President Obama enough slack? Does it treat him fairly?

To put it into perspective, here's how O'Reilly treats the President. He says President Obama is "clueless, feckless, insular, indifferent to facts that contradict his lefty belief system, and otherwise incompetent."

So someone who's so opinionated with his assessments of the President might be a bit more "conservative" with his co-workers. But after all, this is Bill O. :

If you watch Fox & Friends, [Steve] Doocy is an Obama-basher. He bashes Obama like clockwork. But the other two—Elisabeth [Hasselbeck] and Brian [Kilmeade]—they’d rather whip up a soufflé.”

Bill thinks morning hosts Bill Hemmer and Jenna Lee “have no ideology.”

When it comes to the on camera talent involved on, “Outnumbered or Outsmarted, Bill gave a dismissive shrug. Basically he's not a fan.

For the 3 PM offering, O'Reilly labels Shepard Smith as a liberal.” He added that Cavuto, hosted by Neal Cavuto, “is a business show…He’s not an Obama fan.”

Following that comes the Factor's assessment of the quintet of hosts on The Five -- "they don’t like the president so much"… At 6,there's Bret Baier. Big Bill says he’s not anti-Obama.

“Then you have Greta [van Susteren], who’s a liberal. At 8 you have me. I’m tough on everybody. At 9 you have Megyn [Kelly]. Again, not an ideologue…Then you have the Republican show, Hannity, at 10”

I sure would love to see the reception Bill gets today when he shows up to the studios. I'm confident he's going to get more cold shoulders than congratulatory pats. He might even get called into the principal's office (Roger Ailes) to caution him to tone it down a bit.

In baseball it was Manny being Manny. At Fox, it's Bill being Bill. No difference. Both are crazy. Perhaps I give Manny the advantage though. He hit a lot more home runs than Bill.
