Missouri: We Don't Need No Stinking Badges! Are these people for real?

I had to read this twice before I realized I was not reading 'The Onion'.

Missouri Senate Committee Votes To Jail Federal Agents Who Enforce Gun Laws

Nope: it's for real.

From the article: (link above)

The Missouri Senate’s General Laws Committee voted 5-1 last week in favor of a bill that purports to make it a crime for federal law enforcement agents to enforce the nation’s gun laws. Under the bill’s terms, these agents could be imprisoned for up to a year and be fined up to $1,000.
Much of this unconstitutional legislation mirrors a bill Gov. Jay Nixon (D) vetoed last year. In September, Missouri’s overwhelmingly Republican senate came just one vote shy of the votes necessary to override Nixon’s veto. Like the bill Nixon vetoed last year, the new legislation contains a provision to arm public school personnel. It also would lower the minimum age to receive a concealed weapons permit from 21 to 19.

No, it doesn't work like that, Missouri - why are you wasting everyone's time with your inflammatory rhetoric? It sounds to me as if you need remedial reading specialists to understand the Second Amendment to the Constitution. It's the law which you don't get to interpret any way you want.

According to Texas First Lady, Texas is a Country, Therefore Ted Cruz Is Not A US Senator

What

Okay, no wonder the lone star state is in trouble -- they have easily befuddled, often confused Rick Perry as their chief of state.

But to hear his wife, Anita Perry on Saturday being interviewed at the Texas Tribune Festival, she's first lady of the country of Texas, not state of Texas.

The interview below is the proof in the pudding. At 1:58 of the video, First Lady of the new country of Texas says there are only four countries in the world that allow abortions, Texas being one of them.

Well, for all those Texas secessionists out there, you seemingly got your wish. Good luck to you, the country of Texas. BTW, would you please remit funds for the state roads, bridges, libraries, fire stations, police stations, US federal installations and all the other public services and facilities that we've been paying for. As a sovereign country, you have no more right to these US investments. You gotta get your own.

Oh, and while you're at it, please take your senators back. We're pleased to return "former" senators John Cornyn III and Rafael 'Ted' Cruz. Good luck with them as leaders of your new, national government.

How interesting that First Lady Anita Perry publicly disagrees with her husband, (what is he called in your land, King?) Rick, on a woman's right to an abortion. She states at 02:36 of the interview that abortion is a woman's RIGHT.  At 02:42 of the tape, she's asked to clarify that the interviewer heard her correctly -- she's in favor of women's right to  make their own decision regarding abortion.

She confirms it and goes so far as to prominently say that she won't criticize State Senator Wendy Davis, for her stand on abortion rights. Seemingly she agrees.

Listen for yourself. Here is the First Lady, or perhaps now she's called Queen Anita I, of the sovereign country of  Texas:
