Armed Neo-Nazis Patrolling Sanford, Say "Prepared" For Post-Trayvon Martin Violence

I believe I heard earlier that there's another big rally in Sanford tonight. Fingers crossed it doesn't get ugly.

Neo-Nazis are currently conducting heavily armed patrols in and around Sanford, Florida and are "prepared" for violence in the case of a race riot. The patrols are to protect "white citizens in the area who are concerned for their safety" in the wake of the Trayvon Martin shooting last month, says Commander Jeff Schoep of the National Socialist Movement. "We are not advocating any type of violence or attacks on anybody, but we are prepared for it," he says. "We are not the type of white people who are going to be walked all over."

Because nothing diffuses racial tension like gun-toting racial separatists

The patrols are comprised of between 10 and 20 locals and "volunteers" from across the state, including some from Miami, he added. He couldn't go into specifics on what kind of firepower, exactly, the patrols had with them.

"In Arizona the guys can walk around with assault weapons and that's totally legal," Schoep said, referring to the group's patrols of the US-Mexico border. "What I can tell you is that any patrols that we are doing now in Florida are totally within the law."

Asked if the patrols wouldn't just make things worse -- spark a race riot, for instance -- Schoep insisted they were simply a "show of solidarity with the white community down there" and "wouldn't intimidate anybody."

Secret anti-racist shirts covertly distributed to neo-Nazis

I seriously doubt the effectiveness of this, but you got to admit it's creative. Via Boing Boing.

Hundreds of free T-shirts handed out at a weekend right-wing rock festival in the eastern German state of Thuringia contained a secret surprise. Upon washing, the original graphic faded to reveal a clandestine message.

German skinheads who took home free T-shirts after a music festival on Saturday were in for a big surprise.

The shirts, which bore a skull and crossbones symbol and the word 'Hardcore Rebels,' faded upon washing to reveal a hidden message: "What happened to your shirt can happen to you. We can help you break with right-wing extremism."

The T-shirts were the work of Exit Deutschland, a group that helps young people transition out of militant right-wing lifestyles.

Arizona border neo-Nazi vigilante: Only non-Jewish, white heterosexuals should be American citizens.

Neo-Nazi J.T. Ready

Remember when the Rushpublics were all over Janet Napolitano for daring-- daring!-- to suggest that disgruntled veterans might go all extremist on us? They frothed and they screamed and they--

What's that? The report originated with BushCo? Damn.  But that's not important now. What is important is that Napolitano was right, and she should never have backed off.

"Why?" you ask. "Prove it," you demand. "Give us examples," you plead.

Okay. Let's examine the case of a guy named J.T.

Jason "J.T." Ready is a neo-Nazi who happens to be an ex-Marine. He sounds like such a reasonable guy, I can't imagine why the Border Patrol would object to his antics:

But local law enforcement are nervous given that Ready's group is heavily armed and identifies with the National Socialist Movement, an organization that believes only non-Jewish, White heterosexuals should be American citizens and that everyone who isn't White should leave the country "peacefully or by force."

"We're not going to sit around and wait for the government anymore," Ready said. "This is what our founding fathers did."

Oh really, "J.T."? Our founding fathers grabbed their muskets and went after anyone who wasn't a non-Jewish, straight, white, Glenn Beck lookalike? Of course, that leaves Agent Orange McBoehner types out in the cold, but that's another story for another time.

And gee whiz, silly me, J.T. and his merry men are just doing what all decent patriots would do. What was I thinking?

He and his friends are outfitted with military fatigues, body armor and gas masks, and carry assault rifles. Ready takes offense at the term "neo-Nazi," but admits he identifies with the National Socialist Movement.

Gosh, did I refer to him as a neo-Nazi? How gay and Jewy of me. I hope I didn't offend.

"These are explicit Nazis," said Mark Potok of the Southern Poverty Law Center's Intelligence Project. "These are people who wear swastikas on their sleeves."

I wouldn't mind if they wore their hearts on their sleeves, but I draw the line at swastikas.

Law enforcement officials said patrols like Ready's could undercut the work of the thousands of officers on duty every day across the border, especially if they try to enforce the law themselves in carrying out vigilante justice.

Let's be thankful for gun control. Arizona surely has laws that will cover all those lethal weapons that J.T. and his bff's are waving around at the scores of evil Jewish, brown-skinned, gay commies roaming the desert.

The patrols have been occurring on public land, and militia members have no real restrictions on their weaponry because of Arizona's loose gun laws.

According to Bureau of Land Management rangers, these thugs aren't violating any laws... yet.

And yet, for some odd reason the Border Patrol spokesman said they would rather trust things like this to, you know, actual law enforcement professionals.

I'd rather trust Arizona to a different governor, but that's not gonna happen either.
