Tsk, imagine R’s exaggerating! Unthinkable. More here.

Either he got hacked or he’s someone I don’t want to mess with when he’s ticked. Of course, it has since been deleted.
Major Garret used to be a White House correspondent for Fox, and on “Face The Nation” Bob Schieffer announced that Garret is now replacing Norah O’Donnell as the Chief White House Correspondent for CBS News.
Norah O’Donnell has done some good work, most recently in her interview with Grover “Poopy Head” Norquist:
Grover Norquist:
“The president was committed, uh, elected on the basis that he was not Romney and Romney was a poopy head and you should vote against Romney and he won by two points. But he didn’t make the case that we should have higher taxes and higher spending, he kind of sounded like the opposite.”
Norah O’Donnell:
“Well, I’m not sure that’s what the president called Mitt Romney, Grover. That’s not the debate that was had … He said very clearly throughout the debate that the wealthiest Americans should pay more, and he won eight of the nine battleground states, um, and Republicans failed to reclaim the White House or the Senate.”
And who could forget Norah O’Donnell Pummels Boehner on “Repeal and Replace”?
Unfortunately for “fair and balanced” news coverage, Foxers, former and current, are infiltrating as many outlets as they can: Former News Corp. exec expected to head Tribune Co., Rupert Murdoch eyes LA Times, Chicago Tribune.
Here lately Garrett had been pretty even handed, but I guess you can take the boy away from Fox, but you can’t get Fox… Via.
Right the spot on. Thank god for Taegan today.
Major Garrett: “In the zero-sum world of what’s likely to be an airtight campaign, any day Obama can redirect the national conversation away from the economy is a good day in Chicago and a bad day in Boston. Romney can’t get back the last three days and will probably lose most of Thursday in the analytical aftermath of Obama’s embrace of gay marriage.”
“It may sound cynical, but this math is real. The focus on gay marriage allowed Obama to speak to a key voting bloc, one that also punches well above its weight in terms of campaign dollars. Obama’s recipe for reelection is melding motivated constituencies. This isn’t 2008 and waves of enthusiasm. This is micro-targeting and constituent corralling. In the gay community and among those sympathetic to its agenda, Obama has earned their energy, votes, and dollars.”
I don’t ever watch ClusterFox, so you will have to tell me what impact this will have:
Major Garrett, the chief White House correspondent for Fox News, is quitting his job at the cable news channel after eight years. He is joining National Journal as a Congressional correspondent.
Mr. Garrett’s surprise departure comes just weeks after Fox was moved up to the front row in the White House press briefing room. [...]
He said he looked forward to “discussing my future work on Fox News — keeping in touch with an audience I’ve come to know and cherish.”
How adorable that they referred to them as Fox “News”.
So who will fill his seat? Oh my, that sounded wrong.
Mr. Garrett’s last day at Fox will be Sept. 3. The channel said in a news release that its other two White House correspondents, Wendell Goler and Mike Emanuel, would “assume joint coverage of the beat.”
Yeah whatever. Fox, Schmox.

President Obama will give an interview to Fox News Channel’s Major Garrett, perhaps signaling a thaw in relations between the networkds and administration. The White House confirmed Tuesday that Garrett would be included among a round of network interviews that the president is giving today in Beijing. [...]
Garrett, Fox’s senior White House correspondent and a CNN reporter before moving to Fox, will have 10 minutes with the president.
Obama is fair and balanced.
