PhotOH! The GOP to-do list

Above is the Republican to-do list (provided by someone with a photo editing program and an understanding of today's political climate). Sure brings out the ol' holiday spirit, doesn't it? Do you feel the warmth yet?

Are you inspired when you think of a vanishing middle class, no help for those at and below the poverty level, the sick and elderly losing what's left of their health, welfare, and dignity? And how about those civil rights? Hey, are you from another country? Then you're icky! (Unless you'll do our dirty work for nearly nothing) Need an education? Just ask the folks to fork over all that cash they don't have! Wanna vote? Too bad! Not a white male? Go sit over there... way over there.

Are you feeling the love yet? The family values? How about that "pro-life" compassion for those who are already, you know, living? Hmm?

Here's the Democratic to-do list. Compare and contrast:

  1. Win the presidential election. ✔
  2. Retain Senate majority. ✔
  3. Add seats to House of Representatives. ✔
  4. And this stuff. ✔

How have we EVER managed to survive President Obama's evil presidency?

According to the whackadoodledoos, Barack Hussein Obama:

Whew! And that's just for starters. Wowee zowee, what a terrible, horrible, no-good guy President Obama is! Good grief! How have we ever managed to survive?

10 Things Conservatives Don’t Want You To Know About Ronald Reagan

Think Progress has all the yummy details of this irresistible list of 10 things conservatives would consider cringe-worthy about their American Idol.

Read 'em and weep, GOP. St. Ronnie was no conservative saint:

1. Reagan was a serial tax raiser.

2. Reagan nearly tripled the federal budget deficit.

3. Unemployment soared after Reagan’s 1981 tax cuts, and income inequality exploded.

4. Reagan grew the size of the federal government tremendously.

5. Reagan did little to fight a woman’s right to chose.

6. Reagan was a “bellicose peacenik.” He wrote in his memoirs that “[m]y dream…became a world free of nuclear weapons.

7. Reagan gave amnesty to 3 million undocumented immigrants.

8. Reagan illegally funneled weapons to Iran.

9. Reagan vetoed a comprehensive anti-Apartheid act.

10. Reagan helped create the Taliban and Osama Bin Laden.

Mmm, mmm good!

In denial much, Republicans?

Please hop over to the entire Think Progress piece. It's a must-read.

Give Bush Credit: The List

Paddy posted about ClusterFox's Gretchen Carlson's debut of a new acronym, GBC: "Give Bush Credit." Isn't she just the cleverest? And here we thought her blonditude meant she was dumb. Well, she sure showed us!

In fact, she's given us just the opening we needed to jump on the GBC bandwagon.

Walt and HarborGuy had a thing or two to say about this in Comments. I'll combine their lists into one, and then please, feel free to add to it in Comments:

GBC for ignoring threats that led to 9/11.
GBC for giving FOX News just the right catalyst (9/11) to exploit using fear and paranoia brainwashing millions of Americans for political and monetary gains.
GBC for squandering a surplus by giving tax breaks to the rich that led to rich getting richer... and nothing else.
GBC for falling for Osama Bin Ladin's trap and going to war creating the ultimate quagmire that has done too much damage to list.
GBC for showing us a Commander-in-Chief could outdo the mismanaging of a war like Vietnam.
GBC for signing the Republican Medicare Plan D (which was a giveaway to the Pharmaceutical Companies) without pay for it.
GBC publicly promoting the citizens to partake in the subprime mortgage swindle (what was your take?).
GBC for his swift response to the greatest natural disaster that hit America, Katrina (ok, that's sarcasm).
GBC for continually disregarding the hardcore facts of global warming.
GBC for orchestrating trillions of debt.
GBC for overseeing the shrinking middle class.
GBC for overseeing our greatest economic collapse since the Great Depression.
GBC for doing just what the Corporatist Cartel wanted after stealing you into office.
GBC for leaving this incredible FUBAR for the next president who is now being blamed for your FUBAR by the right wing media machine.
GBC for taking us down the rabbit hole. GBC for using "off budget" games to fund the "wars". GBC for never, ever declaring "war"...just calling them "wars".

Our readers sure give great GBC. Your turn.
