One guess who missed the Big Important Top Secret Classified Benghazi Briefing after having bellowed his disrespectful b.s. all over the airwaves. I'll give you 3 seconds to answer.
And guess where he was right smack in the middle of this top-secret event? Holding a press conference right there in the Capitol to demand-- wait for it-- a Watergate-style special Congressional committee to investigate the Benghazi attack.
(CNN) - When CNN approached McCain in a Capitol hallway Thursday morning, the senator refused to comment about why he missed the briefing, which was conducted by top diplomatic, military and counter-terrorism officials. Instead, McCain got testy when pressed to say why he wasn't there.
"I have no comment about my schedule and I'm not going to comment on how I spend my time to the media," McCain said.
Asked why he wouldn't comment, McCain grew agitated: "Because I have the right as a senator to have no comment and who the hell are you to tell me I can or not?... I'm upset that you keep badgering me."
Awww, poor wittle John Sidney McCain is tantruming because the mean ol' pwess is doing its job.
If you're into irony, try this on for size. Of those attending the briefing, only three of the eight GOP members of the committee attended, while seven of the nine Democratic members were there.
Apparently, if you scream and whine and accuse loudly enough on Tee Vee, your presence is no longer required for the very thing about which you're screaming, whining, and accusing.
I was totally speechless when I first heard this. There's alot of hate in there. Via Think Progress.
The worst thing about this particular p.o.s. movie is the horribly degrading way it treats the President's mother as nothing but an ideological whore. I don't even think Monica's ex boss Nixon would approve. Via.
You'd have to be very vocal about the diet, and make sure you tell people who will hold you to it. Not a bad idea.
Akash Jayaprakash had been looking for the motivation to lose weight and get fit when an Internet forum he belonged to, SomethingAwful.com, suggested a way. Pick a specific goal, the forum suggested, and if you don't meet it, punish yourself with something awful. Some forum users chose the punishment of posting embarrassing photos.
"I thought, 'What would really turn my stomach?' Something I really disagree with," he says. "My bet is to lose 10 pounds within two months, and also run a 5k in October. If not, I have to donate $250 to Romney."
Jayaprakash is a registered Democrat who follows politics closely and says he has long been unhappy with the Romney campaign. He is also a Mormon who doesn't like when people assume he'll support Romney.
Malleable minds. Further on it says they found "documents' that led them to believe this guy was obsessed with Fox/GOP. Wonder what they were.
Palm Beach Post Staff Writer- A Lake Park man “obsessed with Fox News and the Republican party” is in jail today after he allegedly said that he felt he was going to have to kill his girlfriend because she was a “liberal.”
David A. Kappheim, 60, is being held at the Palm Beach County Jail without bail. He was arrested Tuesday and the arresting Palm Beach County Sheriff’s deputy placed Kappheim under a Baker Act. Kappheim is facing charges of domestic battery, aggravated assault and criminal mischief.
On Saturday, Kappheim showed up at her friend’s house uninvited and “stark naked,” she said, according to the arrest report.
She said he tried strangling her the next day.
The couple lived together but she asked him to move out. On Tuesday, Kappheim asked to borrow her car so he could move his belongings out. The woman said she agreed but asked him to drive her to work first.
Throughout the ride, the woman said Kappheim drove “recklessly.” When she asked him not to kill her, he allegedly responded by laughing out loud. On Wednesday, she called the sheriff’s office for help.
When Kappheim was approached by the arresting deputy, he said “he was very conservative and (his girlfriend) was a liberal.” He also told the deputy that “he felt that he was going to have to kill her,” the report said.
