I have a very distinct memory of being at the college where my Mom worked, in one of the basement areas listening to this and being acutely aware of what a sad song it was. I couldn’t have been more than 8 or 9, but I can still hear the sounds and feel the atmosphere. That’s what Sir Paul did for me. Hip hip sir.
