Sunday

It's Sunday again and people are going to talk on tv about things they know next to nothing about, which never stops them. There are exceptions, though, and every now and then someone slips in who actually knows what he/she is talking about.

Some of this weeks's talkers: Rep. John Lewis (D-Ga.), Rep. Mike Turner (R-Ohio), Baltimore Mayor Stephanie Rawlings-Blake (D), NAACP President Cornell William Brooks, Rep. Mike Rogers (R-Mich.), chairman, House Intelligence Committee, Rep. Adam Kinzinger (R-Ill.), Rep. Tulsi Gabbard (D-Hawaii), Texas Gov. Rick Perry (R), Sen. Ron Johnson (R-Wis.), Rep. Eliot Engel (D-N.Y.), ranking member, House Foreign Affairs Committee, and EMILY’s List President Stephanie Schriock

For a detailed schedule, please go to Politico.

Silly Rabbit at Daily Kos also has excellent Sunday Talker listings here.

Perry? Seriously? So he can rant and rave about nonpartisanship and executive powers given to him by the Texas Constitution? (but no mention, I bet, of the executive powers our President has legally employed.) What I found interesting about Perry's little speech was his insistence that during legislative sessions, he followed the Constitution, as if none of us know that Texas rarely even HAS a legislative session, and that in between, Perry and Abbott can do whatever the f*** they please.
