White Supremacy and the Bundy Tea Party Terrorize the Vegas Strip

The two Metro cops having a working guy's lunch at CiCi's on the Vegas strip couldn't have seen it coming.

LVMPD Officer Igor Soldo, 31, was catching a refill at the self-serve soda machine when an armed female 'in line' behind him put a bullet in his brain. She then turned to his seated colleague, Officer Alyn Beck, 41, and mortally wounded him with the remaining rounds before sprinting with her partner to a nearby Walmart to continue the terror.

According to The Las Vegas Review Journal, the real-life Criminal Minds level-of-sick shooting rampage had just begun. Domestic terrorism has many faces of hate.

Crossing the swastika-wearing modern KKK with the Obama Era Tea Party gave birth to the expected monster.

The shooters then stripped the officers of their weapons and ammunition and badges, according to a law enforcement official with knowledge of the investigation. They then covered the officers with something that featured the Gadsden flag, a yellow banner with a coiled snake above the words, “Don’t tread on Me.”

please tread on me
An early angle of truly deeply creepy is that - allegedly - cough  - the shooter, Jared Miller,  was part of the Cliven Bundy Militia and Tea Party Extravaganza we all enjoyed so much earlier this season.  That explained a LOT.

Repercussions much?

The man told Monroe [a neighbor of the couple] he had been kicked off Cliven Bundy’s ranch 80 miles northeast of Las Vegas while people from throughout the U.S. gathered there in protest of a Bureau of Land Management roundup of Bundy’s cattle.” Jessica Anderson, 27, said. She lived next door.

Rick's Café Moment, right?  Warning after liberal warning ensued after the Strap On Militia was encouraged to leave the Bundy Ranch, which apparently only served to incite the deepest levels of hate-crazed gun-nuttery.

After they finished off the two cops at CiCi's Pizza, the couple fled to a nearby Walmart where another innocent woman was summarily executed.  Whether they were going for Walmart's well-stocked munitions depot we may find out with the remaining nauseating details.

The shooters were a married couple thought to be in their late 20s who were new to the Las Vegas Valley, according to a law enforcement official close to the investigation. Police are looking into their links to the white supremacy movement and found swastika symbols during their initial investigation.

In a Monday press conference, local officials revealed that Miller had deeply resented being kicked off the Bundy Ranch Lipton Brigade Militia because he had a criminal record.

Background checks???!!!

Professor Eric Michael  Dyson filled in superbly for Ed over at MSNBC earlier tonight and this footage gets to the heart of the matter.

These good guys with guns were killed by bad guys with guns they never should have been allowed to put their violent hands on. Answer to that, NRA.

  • Sally

We cafe about stopping this violence. So just how would these two have ended up in the mental health system? They are angry and they had military weapons. They used them. If these guns were not available, maybe one of those people would be alive, do ya think? And if the NRA were not against any and all registrations, maybe they would not have had those guns either. But you nuts are so afraid someone is going to take your penis extenders that you make up all kinds of scenarios where you need more and bigger guns. We'll never take your guns, but with any luck, we can tax the bejesus out of ammo, and maybe get that manufacturing slowed way down, or only sold to the military.

  • I absolutely will Rob, with thanks for your activism and astute arguments. Common sense and a cultural survival instinct simply has to win out - another blasted school shooting in Oregon 'happened' while Laffy was Live on Nicole Sandler's radio show not two hours ago … it's enough already with the Ammosexual love.

  • "All you care about..."? No, not "all." ONE of the things many care about is common sense gun safety laws, including background checks, not "taking guns away." Conflating the two is not only mistaken, it's willful ignorance.

And to equate guns and knives is equally illogical. You cannot kill a person with a knife from a distance, nor can you spray a knife across a crowd.

Your talking points won't fly here, but thanks for the chat.

  • Well said, Kenneth. I think that is the very crux of it - we need to make it a lot harder for them. The Founding Mothers sure as hell didn't foresee this idiocy.

  • kenneth

I hate that another story like this happened again, when is enough is enough? "They could've killed them just as easily w/a knife or car" yes, we get it, killers will always find a way to kill, but shouldn't we try to make it a little harder for them?

  • edmeyer_able

Quote me where I advocated the confiscation of firearms.

  • Rob

How pathetic and ignorant you try to play politics with such tragedies.

Three people are dead and all you care about is taking people's guns away.

Instead of trying to get the mentally ill help people like you rather take away people's protected rights.

In the school killing a few weeks ago did you go on and start talking about taking away people's knives? After all the school killing had 3 people die of knives.

I'll be surprised if the nra issues a statement on this they just go home tonight and hug their guns like they do after every death or injury by firearm. If only there had been a good guy w/a gun in walmart....oh wait there was and he's dead as well.
