Joe Scarborough Suffers Breakdown On Camera

Morning Joe Rumors are rampant across the internet and cable chatters that Joe Scarborough might be heading for a forced vacation after his tirade over the parenting skills of Sgt. Bowe Bergdahl's father Robert on Morning Joe today. He suffered a total and quite embarrassing breakdown in an interface with Chuck Todd. Watch it for yourself. It's not pretty. Let's collectively send our prayers and best wishes to Joe for a speedy recovery.

Joe really believes that he has the kind of power of recognition that a General would drop what he is doing during combat on foreign soil to talk to the father of a single soldier because he is concerned about what he wrote in a letter. While thousands are coming under fire, Joe expects Commanders to be babysitters. His scope of realty revolves pretty much around himself. No doubt that hundreds of soldiers in Iraq and Afghanistan had doubts about what was going on and why they were even there. Who knows how many letters were sent home with thoughts of confusion and despair. Does Joe believe this is only one isolated case? If house republicans were given access to all the letters that were sent home by soldiers with anything other than 100% patriotism, imagine their long list of possible traitors. This sort of thing happens in every war but especially the Iraq war where everyone was clearly mislead regarding why we were even there in the first place. You are talking about men and women with feelings not indespesible walking drones. Soldiers are trained to not hurt or kill civilians, but in Iraq that was nearly unavoidable in many cases and was extremely hard to manage, especially children. You would not be human if such things did not upset and confuse you. Iraq was a war unlike any other. Many soldiers talked about how personal this war was, how there was no definite type of line to defend or fight.
For Joe, it's the same old song and dance. You rail against something or someone until it happens to you. Then all of a sudden you're singing a different tune and justifying things in a whole new way. Much like Senator McCain does so often. If it was Joe's son, imagine the feverish talkback he would be yelling...." This is my son! As a father I obligated to do everything I can to assure his safe release! It is a father's duty to his son and country! This is what we do!" ....Then again, this is Joe Scarborough and he may very well go "Patton"....."It's your nerves! Well, hell, you're just a God-damn coward! I won't have a yellow bastard sitting here crying in front of these brave men wounded in battle! You're going back to the front my friend. You may get shot, you may get fact I ought to shoot you myself you god-damn bastard!"
Just saying...even if they find Bergdahl guilty of walking away, one would think 5 years in various cages, beatings, torture, deprivation, and being a prisoner of war by people who hate Americans might be enough. Five years as POW is not exactly the same as five years in a federal prison, no matter what you have done. It's quite disgusting watching the right's mouth's water for blood and punishment. They can't wait to sink their fangs into anyone that has any association, even if not by choice, with this President. It's like watching a pack of rabid dogs waiting outside the fence, barking, scratching, snarling and cutting their own paws, all for that gate to open. I've never seen anything like it. Guilty, until proven that you are fucked!

Wish he could be "condescended" to death...but if that were possible, Mika would be dead by now.

  • Anne Mckinney-page

I have a spare tire iron, if she needs it. 🙂

  • Robert Miner

republicans have convicted this man without a trial and their sole purpose is to try to discredit the president they care not weather they ruin his or any one else in America just so they discredit Obama

  • Sam Dempsey

Another example of why I can't force myself to watch MSNBC in the mornings. Why are these idiots allowed to stay on the air?

  • flan59

Too funny...I said the exact same thing in another comment on FB, I think.

  • Patricia Minga

One can only hope she does it on air!

  • flan59

    She will bludgeon him someday...

  • flan59

Actually I have now decided that she has a form of "battered co-host syndrome". She is so verbally abused by Schmo that she is too afraid to speak out. Look at her body language...

  • jyrdogs

She is an embarrassment to women!! Just like sarah palin!!

  • Lydia Joordan

no he didn't. that is his temperament. he just let down his guard. ask Lori Klausutis. She worked for him; had an affair with him; found dead and yet, they barely investigated him. So why did he resign after she died? he didn't stick around too long after her death. Why run Joe? You claim to have been so good at your job! You act so superior. Why Joe? The story bears remarkable and ironic similarities to the Condit/Levy story. Both involve Congressmen, rumors of infidelity, and the fate of a younger female subordinate. The details are so similar as to remind one of two alternate universes. The difference between the two stories? First, in the Klausutis case as not in the Levy case, there is a real body, very dead. Second, the Klausutis case involves a Republican. Oddly, the coroner admitted to lying about the events surrounding the death saying, he didn't want to create media speculation. He also claimed she had health issues and her family and family doctors denied that completely. So what about the coroner? Why would he lie or cover up? Michael Berkland, it turns out, has a very interesting background himself. He had only recently, around time of death, relocated to Florida, it is a matter of public record that Dr. Berkland's medical license in the state of Missouri was revoked in 1998 as a result of Berkland reporting false information regarding brain tissue samples in a 1996 autopsy report. Berkland does not deny the charges. It's also a matter of public record that he was suspended from his position as Medical Examiner in the State of Florida in July, 1999. Repeated requests to Dr. Stephen Nelson, Chairman of the Medical Examiners Commission, Florida Department of Law Enforcement, have failed to verify that Dr. Berkland's suspension was lifted and that his licensure and disciplinary record are clear at the present time. Dr. Nelson was appointed Chairman of the Commission by Governor Jeb Bush. Mika is a stupid ass wipe herself.
So now you know the rest of the story of Crazy Joe Scarborugh. He is an asshole.

And Mika sighs... Oh, Joe. She makes me puke

  • jawillie

Not surprising after being so totally rejected by FOX News when he went over there to push his book. Clearly he's suffering a complex.

  • Maddies_Mom

  • RepublicansSUCKS

  • Linda Perry

Unhinged. Pretentious. Serial wife cheater. No person of color or a Woman would be allowed to keep his/her job yelling at people just about every morning. FOLKS please stop watching this JOKE, period!

  • Linda Perry

If one is this unhinged in the Morning, why is MSNBC paying him $6M annually to spew total nonsense this early?

If this serial wife cheater who had a dead intern in his FL office in the early on earth can this man who has never served in the military nor has any of his sons call Mr Bergdahl a bad father? Mr Bergdahl stood with his son, worked to get his son released, kept his family together and loved his son unconditionally...........

Whereas, JoScar walked out of his 1st wife had affairs left when his Son had health problems and later walked out on the second wife....with two children.

JoScar has No legs to stand on when DEVOTED and Good Fathers are concerned.

  • txvoodoo

Here's a funny thing - Joe seems to think that the military is like kindergarden - you can call the "teacher" (commander) and say "please take my son to the nurse's office". Is he a helicopter parent?

Note: i'm not saying this to agree with the detractors of Bergdahl's father! I can't imagine what it'd be like to be in that situation. That's why I think Joe is an asshole.

  • jonathan

This guy and his party are sick

  • Ken Mitnick

After avoiding watching #ScabrousJoe ever since this thing broke, I watched it. My opinion is now carved in marble. #ScabrousJoe is a certifiable asshole who does not deserve a 3 hour TV show. What he deserves is someone else's father to take him out behind the barn. Fill in the rest. I'm no fan of Chuck Todd, either, because he's become a corporate shill for Comcast/NBC. I expect him to host a program such as "The Koch Brothers - Terribly Misunderstood?" But back to #ScabrousJoe. That asshole needs to be doing something he's qualified for - like carrying Sarah Palin's cosmetics bag. And his sidekick Mika would be working as a secretary in the traffic department of the business office if it wasn't for the fact that her father had a prominent position in the government a generation and a half ago. MSNBC is rapidly becoming another Fox News, albeit on the other side. With Chris Matthews' rants and #ScabrousJoe just plain losing it, screw them. If not for Maddow, I'd give MSNBC a complete pass. (Lawrence, you'd better get back before that whole place self-destructs). With Shultz, Sharpton and Matthews screaming at me for three straight hours, they've become unwatchable. The younger members of the team are good. But these guys? Time for me to watch more Seinfeld reruns. MSNBC's shelf date is rapidly approaching.

  • David G

He's a dangerous A.H. because he as a platform to spread his form of hate.

  • Marty Susman

Sorry, Joe is an asshole, plain & simple....
