We have come to a clear realization of the fact that true
individual freedom cannot exist without economic security and
independence. Necessitous men are not free men. People who are hungry
and out of a job are the stuff of which dictatorships are made.

In our day these economic truths have become accepted as self-evident.
We have accepted, so to speak, a second Bill of Rights under which a new
basis of security and prosperity can be established for all –
regardless of station, race, or creed. Among these are:

 The right to a useful and remunerative job…

 The right to a good education.

 The right of every businessman, large and small, to trade in an
atmosphere of freedom from unfair competition and domination by

 The right to adequate protection from the economic fears of old age, sickness, accident, and unemployment.

 The right to adequate medical care and the opportunity to achieve and enjoy good health.

 The right of every family to a decent home.

 The right to earn enough to provide adequate food and clothing and recreation.

    Franklin D. Roosevelt

These are the things that are pleasing to God. These are the things that
will allow this nation to prosper. These are the things that will bring
about a more perfect union. I ask you to search your heart of hearts
and ask yourself whom do you serve, God or Greed? Do you serve "we the
people" or do you serve the evil conglomerate corporations that have
literally brought this country to its knees economically morally and
ethically" Whom do you serve God or greed? In your heart of hearts can
you honestly say you are willing to provide a better life for " the
least of these" the Holy Bible mentions in Mathew 25 31-46? Whom do you
serve God or greed? In your heart of hearts have dollar signs replaced
the teachings of Jesus Christ? Can you honestly tell me you follow the
example of Jesus when He took bread and fish from the only one who had
food on the shore of the Sea of Galilee, gave thanks to God, distributed
to His disciples to feed the thousands? Have you forgotten that all
were filled and that the scraps far exceeded the amount taken from the
only one who had? You should see wealth as the bread and the fish that
is intended to feed the multitudes. After all, it isn't "your pie" it is
God's blessing. Whom do you serve God or greed? Please read James 5 1-6
and think about the CEO who is earning 300 times the amount paid to the
average worker. (not the lowest.. the average) and consider the
dividends given to investors who do no work and ask yourself, in your
heart of hearts, is this the will of God? Whom do you serve God or
