anon justice is coming

My dear pal @Anomaly100 is sharing a post with us from FreakOutNation:

Two months after a 14 year old girl and her 13 year-old friend were abused/raped by several boys, after plying them with alcohol, then dumping one of the unconscious victim’s outside in freezing weather to die, the Nodaway County, Kansas prosecutor dropped the felony cases against the youths, one of which is the grandson of a longtime area Republican political figure.

Matthew Barnett played defensive end for Maryville High School’s vaunted football team, the Spoofhounds, and came from a prominent Maryville family — his grandfather had been a longtime member of the Missouri House of Representatives.

The Kansas City Star has a jaw dropping article which was published yesterday, detailing the timeline of events. In the end, instead of standing up for the victims, the town turned on them.

If this story thus far reminds you of anything, it should: The Steubenville rapists.

Daisy, one of the young girls, alleged that after she arrived to Barnett’s home, he handed her a large glass filled with alcohol. The other boys — popular school athletes —  urged her drink it and then a second glass too.

That was the last thing she could remember.

Daisy was discovered by one of her parents, sprawled on the front porch and barely conscious; after being left in 22 degree weather for hours, even her hair was frozen.

Ms. Coleman went to her daughter’s bedroom, and found the 13-year-old asleep. She, too, seemed confused.

She detected redness around her daughter’s genitalia and buttocks. It hurt, the girl said, when Coleman asked about it. Then she began crying.

“Immediately,” Coleman said, “I knew what had happened.”

Barnett told police that although the girl said “no” multiple times, he undressed her, put a condom on and had sex with her.

That’s rape and they taped it.

And now the family’s home has been burnt to the ground.

The mother was fired because of the backlash from the town.

The felony charges are dropped.

Press release:

Greetings, World.

We are #OpMaryville.

Two young girls have been raped in the town of Maryville, Missouri. Another high school football star, the grandson of a Missouri state official, has walked free. The people of Maryville turned their backs on these victims and one family has been forced to flee the town. After they left, their house was burned to the ground.

On January 8th, a 14-year-old girl named Daisy and her 13-year-old friend were both raped in Maryville. Evidence of this assault was captured on film. Daisy’s unconscious body was later dumped into her family’s yard, left alone for hours in freezing weather. One of Daisy’s attackers was initially in police custody, where he admitted to having sex with her while she was under the influence.

He claimed it was consensual. The hospital states the young girl’s blood alcohol level was almost twice the legal limit and they discovered three tears inside of her body, 2-4 inches in length.

This suspect rapist is Matthew Barnett, a student at the University of Central Missouri. He’s the grandson of Missouri state Representative, Rex Barnett.

We demand an immediate investigation into the handling by local authorities of Daisy’s case. Why were the suspects initially arrested and then released? How was video and medical evidence not enough to put one of these football players inside a court room? What is the connection of these prosecutors, if any, to Rep. Rex Barnett? Most of all, We are wondering, how do the residents of Maryville sleep at night?

We have heard Daisy’s story far too often. We heard it from Steubenville, Halifax and Uttar Pradesh. In some cases, action meant nothing because it couldn’t bring them back. Both Amanda Todd and Rehtaeh Parsons, girls not much older than Daisy, took their own lives after the adults, the police and the school system, failed to protect them. If Maryville won’t defend these young girls, if the police are to cowardly or corrupt to do their jobs, if justice system has abandoned them, then someone else will have to stand for them. Mayor Jim Fall, your hands are dirty. Maryville, expect us.

    This one has struck a
nerve in me. And thankfully it has done so as well in Anonymous, our 21st century real life
super heroes. It’s repulsive at best that the last bastion of anything vaguely
close in appearance to the nearly extinct species known as Justice is a group
of elite underground hackers. Yet, thankfully they will never relent
to the clown-painted faces currently cart-wheeling through our nation’s
capital; the caricatures who will spend more money and man hours trying to
expose and identify Anonymous as a thorny branch of cyber terrorism than they
will spend on the roll of toilet paper used to smear their asses clean of any
ethical or moral responsibility to convene and take charge of this good ol’ boy approach to law & order. So be it then. Anonymous make no hollow
threats of consequences through some vain display of sophomoric social
    braggadocio. They
have long made it known they are not out to rid the world of evil and would
much prefer to see those who have chosen that path as their life’s calling do
so to the best of their ability. But when they feel they cannot sit idly by as
an injustice so blatantly appalling on every level zips up its pants and walks
away, indulging in another helping of I’m untouchable cockiness, they will
surface. They have the ability to buckle the foundation of Maryville, MO and I
hope they do so relentlessly, sparing no one in their path to deliver justice
to the ones who have wronged this family.

"You have been weighed in the balances and found wanting...." Daniel 5:27

Let there be a day of reckoning for this evil.....I yearn for such a judgement....I pray for such a reaping of what evil they have sown...

Anonymous I stand with you in Spirit

this article should be linked to the facebook page of the University of Central Missouri - and sent to their student newspaper and the local news where the college is located The University there needs to know they have admitted this rapist as a student. I'm sure the girls on campus would appreciate the warning and heads up.

Why hasn't the US Attorney in Missouri stepped up and taken over prosecuting this case? The police, the prosecutors office and the town needs to be investigated for shielding these rapists.

I hope that Anonymous savages this person, and remember Anonymous could have females and males on their team.

  • Ray Silva

    This is really sickening.

  • Tom Wolf

Old-fashioned vigilantism would seem to be in order.
And since our "justice" system has been totally corrupted and perverted by the powerful, it's long past time to put vengeance and revenge back on the table, even if it is citizens who must exact justice since "the law" is obviously unwilling to.

  • Nabil Al-Murabit

As a father of an 11 year old, I watch my daughter like how a Harpy Eagle watches its prey. Had she been one of those girls, I can't express the horrors I would take the Barnett family through. As for the town, it's rotten to the fcking core. Where's the League of Shadows when you need them. This town needs to be destroyed

  • cwazycajun

they say pay back is a bitch ..well I hope the bitch is in town and really pissed off...watch your back maryville

  • Serial Gramma

And we have a book titled "What's the Matter With Kansas?" THIS

  • Laurie Bishop

This is just too, too disgusting. I can't even imagine a community that would do this to two young girls and their family. I can't imagine influence being so great that it makes people so sick.

  • RepublicanSwine

I could hardly read this. Sad & Disgusting on so many levels. I'm too pissed to write anything.
