Gays In The Navy Make Attacking Syria Ineffective

Sandy Rios

Sandy Rios is a hoot. She’s a radio commentator for American Family Association Radio. She recently took to the airwaves and claimed the following, according to Right Wing Watch:

…the increased amount of women serving in key roles makes the U.S. Navy incapable of carrying out a strike against Syria. “When I looked at those battleships getting ready for battle in Syria, I couldn't help think about all the stories I've read about how women now are in the ranks of the Navy, getting pregnant at exponential numbers,” she said on air this week. “When I think about the folding in and the repeal of Don't Ask Don't Tell and the homosexual takeover of so much of our military I'm not sure how effective those naval ships will be.

Let me break it all down for you. Sandy’s packed a lot in a small space.

“…the homosexual takeover of so much of our military.” Hmm. That will come as a great surprise to anyone with an real knowledge of the military. The armed forces are hardly the place that LGBT people seek out to join in larger than average numbers.

According to a Williams Institute review conducted in April 2011:

…approximately 3.8% of American adults identify themselves either as lesbian or gay (1.70%), bisexual (1.80%), or transgender (0.30%).

Let’s be generous and double the numbers – 7.6%, and then let’s round up to 8%. That’s hardly “taking over so much of our military.”

Sweet, innocent Sandy then goes on, “increased amount of women serving in key roles makes the U.S. Navy incapable of carrying out a strike against Syria.”

Why? Too busy scrubbing the ship, vacuuming and making dinner? Oh, and let’s not forget doing the laundry and watching the kids. Kids? Sure, we all know that gay sailors are pedophiles and they steal little children in every port and hide them in their duffle bags.

“I've read about how women now are in the ranks of the Navy, getting pregnant at exponential numbers.” Is there some top-secret experiment going on where all those male, testosterone-crazy, gay sailors are schtuping  the women sailors? That’s reason enough to enlist. Anchors away!

By now you must know that Sandy Rios is certifiably crazy, but she has listeners. So, if you want to hear this whack-job’s words directly from her mouth, here you go: (it's under a minute long but you'll be laughing for hours)
