Um...

WASHINGTON (AP) — A self-described conservative Republican who is a manager in the Internal Revenue Service office that targeted tea party groups told investigators that he, not the White House, set the review in motion, the top Democrat on the House watchdog committee said Sunday.

Rep. Elijah Cummings, D-Md., released a partial transcript of the House Committee on Oversight and Government Reform interview with the unnamed manager in the IRS' Cincinnati office. In it, the employee said the extra scrutiny for tea party groups' tax exempt status was an effort to be consistent in reviewing applications and not driven by politics.

Oversight chairman Rep. Darrell Issa (R-CA): I don't care! I want more hearings! More, I say, more! It's all Obama's fault! Benghazi! Benghazi!!! Impeach! Impeach, I tells ya, impeach!!! With lots of exclamation points!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Do maggots have eyes? I tend to doubt it, otherwise the GOP & Issa could see that ANY new political nonprofits require scrutiny, and that you use the KEYWORDS you're aware of to SEARCH for such entities. That, and RW'ers are all "how DARE you???" Re anyone singling-out the largest organized bullsh*t festival (i.e., the New, Improved, Tea-Flavored GOP!!!) for audits. I mean, one, they're political (meaning they want influence), and two, people w/influence often SELL it. Duh!

Anybody who has worked for the federal government knows that the vast majority of bureaucrats are hardworking, good intentioned and diligent. (I worked for Departments of State, Defense, and the IRS; my father worked for Commerce; my mother for State; my sister for Defense and in the White House. Together we have more than 60 years experience.)
