What I will not write about today

Sometimes I get so frustrated and/or disheartened and/or annoyed by some of the news stories of the day that I can’t bring myself to write about them. Here are a few recent reports that made my blood pressure hit the roof. I am avoiding delving into them at length out of concern for my physical and mental health.

And just to get you really riled up:

See what I mean? So who’s up for a couple of Margs or a trough of wine?

Every so often I force myself to not read the blogs for a day or two.
My daily blogs...the Political Carnival, Crooks & Liars, the Raw Story, Mother Jones & a few more.
It just becomes too sad, too maddening, too frustrating.
I can't imagine what you & the other bloggers/journalists who actually sift through & research & write about the news & craziness....what you endure.
Raising my wine glass to you all...know that you are so appreciated out here.
