In case you missed it, Stephen Colbert’s sister, Elizabeth Colbert-Busch, is running as a Democrat in the South Carolina House race… against  C-Streeter Mark Sanford whose Appalachian Trail led him straight to political hell. And yes, he’s still with his Argentine “soul mate” and, yes, he managed to avoid criminal charges following an ethics investigation.

Like I’m not worried what it would do to me or my show to try to help her as myself, not as my character, and to help her as myself. “The former governor of the Appalachian Trail is favored to be the Republican candidate.”
