Video- Smoothie Store Owner Charges Liberals $1 Extra

Do these people know the "surcharge" is going to the Heritage Foundation? It's not voluntary, so is it legal? I'd be picketing the place over this crap. Sorry, can't figure out how to make it any bigger. Via.

How many liberals are there in Vernal Utah? Probably "0". This guy is doing this to get publicity to drum up business. But in the long run it might backfire on him.  Sounds like a civil rights violation with the separate but equal law Jim Crow laws. Some smart lawyer could really make a lot of trouble for this jerk.

What's ironic about this is that the Uinta Basin, where the town of Vernal is located, is one of the most polluted places in the whole state, even the country.  They have terrible inversions, and the ozone levels are so unhealthy that kids get asthma and people with respiratory ailments have to stay indoors for weeks at a time.  All that drilling that this maroon hearts is a major contributor to the pollution.

  • you can get away with anything in this country if you're full of hate and a conservative.

I can't see how charging more money based on a political belief isn't a violation of the first amendment... Hmmm. DG
