Earlier, Paddy posted Boos as House Adjourns Without Hurricane Sandy Relief.

Taking that booing a step further, New York GOP Rep. Peter King smacked down his fellow Republicans for having a "reality problem." He was furious over their failure to provide funding relief via a Hurricane Sandy bill, adjourning without permitting said aid. King even called on New Yorkers to stop all donations to GOP House members. Of course, these are the same compassionate conservatives who love to boast about being "pro life."

In stark contrast to the GOP and buttressing King's sentiments, President Obama is calling for an immediate Sandy aid vote.

King:

"I would not give one penny to these people."

"We are a two party system, but I'm over that."

"When your people are literally freezing in the winter... and my own party refuses to help them, then why should I help the Republican party?"

"They wonder why they're becoming a minority party."

“They’re in New York all the time filling their pockets with money from New Yorkers. I’m saying right now, anyone from New York or New Jersey who contributes one penny to congressional Republicans is out of their minds. Because what they did last night was put a knife in the back of New Yorkers and New Jerseyans. It was an absolute disgrace.”

"As far as I'm concerned, I'm on my own. They're going to have to go a long way to get my vote on anything."
