gop fail irrelevant

And why is Eric so cranky? Via email alert:

House Republican leaders abruptly pulled their fallback tax bill from the floor Thursday night, conceding that they did not have the votes to pass it.
The House did not take up the tax measure today because it did not have sufficient support from our members to pass,” Speaker John A. Boehner said in a statement. “Now it is up to the president to work with Senator Reid on legislation to avert the fiscal cliff.”
The decision was a major setback for the speaker, who was pushing his so-called Plan B to prevent lower tax rates from expiring on most Americans. It came after the House had narrowly approved a plan to suspend planned Pentagon cuts.

What a Boehner smaller

Yes, McConnell filibustered himself and The Boehner pulled his own bill. This must be why they call themselves the "adult" party. What next? Firing themselves?

Plan BS was aborted. Will there be a Billhood proposal?

We on Twitter got a million of 'em folks, a million of 'em. Oh, but I kid.

More here.

The Irrelephant party walked away from the Grand Bargain last year which would have given them 3$ in cuts for every 1$ in revenue. That brought us to sequester, and the so called Fiscal Cliff. Now there going home for the Holidays and want the Democrats to do it alone. John Boehner is the worst speaker in history and his republican house is owned by Plutocrats who guide their every move. No GOP leader has come forward to speak about the terrible mass murder in Conn. They are waiting for the NRA for direction and talking points. What has this house done for America, the Jobless, poor, elderly, returning Veterans, Women, to improve their lives or give them hope for the future? Absolutely nothing. The "Country First" party passes anti Union Bills, Voter Suppression Bills,Right to Work (for less)bills, bills restricting contraception, bills restricting or preventing abortion or Freedom of Choice, anti Gay bills, they blocked the Dream Act, The American Jobs Act, Jobs for Returning Veterans Act, Voted against the Disabilities Treaty, blocked the Equal Pay for Women Act, want to repeal the Affordable Care Act, repeal Roe v Wade, get rid of the minimum wage. None of these actions improves the lives of anyone except the rich, the plutocrats and Corporations who fund their campaigns. They're a disgrace upon the Constitution they claim to hold so high, and to the Nation!
Rock The House in 2014! Vote them out!

    What next? Firing themselves?

Fine by me.  If they don't, we'll take of that in 2014 . . .
