One guess who missed the Big Important Top Secret Classified Benghazi Briefing after having bellowed his disrespectful b.s. all over the airwaves. I'll give you 3 seconds to answer.

Keeeee-rect! None other than the angriest, bad-temperiest, Republican white guy John McCain, the Official Susan Rice/Obama basher!

And guess where he was right smack in the middle of this top-secret event? Holding a press conference right there in the Capitol to demand-- wait for it-- a Watergate-style special Congressional committee to investigate the Benghazi attack.

D'oh!

(CNN) - When CNN approached McCain in a Capitol hallway Thursday morning, the senator refused to comment about why he missed the briefing, which was conducted by top diplomatic, military and counter-terrorism officials. Instead, McCain got testy when pressed to say why he wasn't there.

"I have no comment about my schedule and I'm not going to comment on how I spend my time to the media," McCain said.

Asked why he wouldn't comment, McCain grew agitated: "Because I have the right as a senator to have no comment and who the hell are you to tell me I can or not?... I'm upset that you keep badgering me."

Awww, poor wittle John Sidney McCain is tantruming because the mean ol' pwess is doing its job.

If you're into irony, try this on for size. Of those attending the briefing, only three of the eight GOP members of the committee attended, while seven of the nine Democratic members were there.

Apparently, if you scream and whine and accuse loudly enough on Tee Vee, your presence is no longer required for the very thing about which you're screaming, whining, and accusing.

Well anyone has the right to not have a comment but pulling the "right as a senator" line was funny. John is a government employee, a public servant with a term of six years, wonderful health and medical benefits and a retirement plan fit for a king. He can either chose to be a statesman or play the role of a bully precinct boss- his choice, his legacy.

Example number 11tbillion of GOP bullsh*t. McCain is a full-blown Teaparty blowhard now, and when the GOP sinks like crates of tea in Boston Harbor, McCain will be leading the dive.

It's called accountability.  His salary is paid for with my tax money.  DG

Hey! "You People" don't deserve a response from his grand eminence.

  • LindaInAus

I agree. I'm a retired psychologist. (see my entry above).  He's having a breakdown and needs to be taken home; needs to be examined by a Geriatric Psychiatrist. ASAP.

  • LindaInAus

Hey, I'm a retired psychologist and I've been saying the SAME THING all day long!  McCain is having a psychotic break.  Period.

He's finally gone "over the edge" as some say, since he and his ilk lost the election. Aaaaw, just can't cope with reality, huh? Can no longer manage your own life, huh?  (refused to go to the very meeting he was ranting about.)

Seriously, his family needs to take him to a Geriatric Psychiatrist (military of course) and have him examined for some sort of age-related senility complicating his cognitive skills.

Using  slang, he's getting to be an old kook and can't think as well as a 2 year old having a temper tantrum.

Seriously, surely there *must* be some way that us citizens, or CongressCritters, or *anybody* can do something to have him taken out of office(?)...even if temporarily, to be examined and observed?  He sure needs help.

In lay terms?  He's effing nuts. And I, for one, am sick and tired of Republifools like him acting hysterical, crazy and abusive.  That is *not* part of their job.  You guys lost! Get over it! Learn to act like adults!

#McCain was all over this #Benghazi thing like,  "White on Rice" . He got it all wrong, starting w/ calling out  the brown rice.

I'm really wondering if the man has had some kind of psychotic break.  Ever since the 2008 campaign, he has just been running full steam ahead into crazy town.  It's like he got on a train that stopped in Palin's mind and now he's stuck there.  I don't know but something is just not right with this man anymore.  His family needs to get him some help.

    He needs a medical evaluation.
