UPDATE: Someone on Facebook has a page devoted to this:

That’s why I said it would be an avenue for some, not for all.

His page has been taken down..but the guy’s picture looks familiar from huffpo comments.

Yes, but if the piroise was to help those with no pwer, how are they going to email it in, let alone FAX it?

  • Sally

An Demcrat can spot this lie right away..we would post “VOTE DEMOCRATIC!” Only  the GOP uses the words incorrectly on purpose as some kind of slur. But yeah, this is sickening. Can’t win on issues, then just lie and cheat. It’s the GOP modus operandi.

A happy note regarding the election:  Gov. Christie has said those displaced by the storm, as well as first responders and other personnel working on the cleanup, can vote by email or fax.  If you’re in NJ, you can use the mail in ballot and then you can email or fax it by Tuesday, 8pm.  It will be difficult for some to do this, but it at least is an avenue for those who can.

This tweet isn’t even very clever – does this person not think that people don’t know the election is on Tuesday?  We’re not stupid.

I really do think that all of these voter suppression tricks and
attempts at misdirection with tweets such as this, will come back to
bite the GOP on the ass.

They don’t realize that they are not just suppressing the voting rights of Democrats, they are doing the same to Republicans.  They’re not just trying to misdirect Democrats, they’re doing this to Republicans as well.  I rarely use this word because I think it’s used too much in politics, but the people that are engaging in the activities designed to disenfranchise voters are evil and every last one of them should go to jail for a long time.  Our most basic right in this democracy of ours is the right to vote.  Taking that away from otherwise eligible voters is absolutely insidious and I would say they all ought to be ashamed but that requires they have the capacity to feel shame – and I don’t think they do.

Smart and informed are two different things.

Don’t they know it is the GOP that drink the kool-aid, we dems are smarter than that?
