VIDEO: Oops! Mitt Romney misspeaks, calls America a “company”

: Lakeland, FL – August 31st, 2012

We… will find good people who like us, want to make sure this company deals with its challenges…”

How presidential of him.

Hey Willard, the United States is not a business, and you can’t run it like one. If you did, you’d have to pay profits to investors, meaning citizens. And that’s socialism!

And no matter how hard you try, you can’t outsource an entire country. Well, maybe if you tie it to the roof of an enormous ship, but that wouldn’t be very cost effective.

Add this to his endless list of Romney gaffes.

Maybe he’s used parts of that speech as he stood in front of the
companies he was going to try to get the most profit out of before he
sacrificed them to their debt when he was running Bain. Might the US be
in for the total Bain treatment if Mitt Romney wins? I wonder how much profit he could turn if he used Bain’s remedies on the US. If his efforts to turn this company around were to
“fail”, there could be lots and lots of profit for the leaders, in a
    Bain sort of way.

No worries, I didn’t think you were scolding. I was just explaining.

Sorry, Laffy, didn’t mean to sound like I was scolding! :)

Between this and his earlier comments about corporations being people, and how he doesn’t care about the very poor, Mittens is simply articulating his REAL agenda, slowly and inexorably.

And I thank him for it.   Makes Nov. 6th that much easier.

Lol, I don’t, but that was the title of the YouTube, so I felt I should use it.

He’s already said that corporations are people — why do you assume he’s “mis-speaking”?
