Willard Romney’s campaign said they wouldn’t appear on the Tee Vee machine because they “don’t have an appropriate spokesperson.”
Truer words have never been spoken by Team Romney. It could be a first!
Sidebar: On MSNBC just now, Tamron Hall read a statement from Mitch McConnell about Todd Akin’s announcement that he’d stay in the Senate race. It read, in part:
“Sorry is not sufficient… Time for Congressman Akin to step aside.”

The GOP sure does want him out. No telling what damage he’ll do to their chances to win a Senate majority, not to mention his drag on the presidential race, what with his ties to Paul Ryan and all.
Republicans want him to shut up and go away, because they are now being haunted by his recent, and their previous, despicable words and disrespect for women. But they’re pretty much stuck with him and their own backwards, nauseating ideology, no matter how hard they try to distance themselves.
