See, Team Romney, Team Obama is rooting FOR more voter access and AGAINST voter suppression, and you guys are rooting AGAINST more voter access and FOR more voter suppression.
That’s why we’ve written all these posts, see, because we’re outraged by so many GOP-run states trying to restrict (mostly Democratic) voters by creating unnecessary Voter I.D.laws, making it much, much harder to register, and eliminating early voting.
Got that Team Willard?
No, they don’t get that. Instead they are moving right along with their habit and practice of lying and taking things out of context. Their latest piece of fiction accuses President Obama of filing a lawsuit to “undermine” the ability of military members to vote early in Ohio.
Here is the true and accurate account, via Think Progress:
The Obama campaign’s request for a preliminary injunction does not seek to restrict military voting. Rather, it simply is asking that the full early voting period be open to all citizens, as it was under the law before this year.
Even Fox News acknowledges the purpose of the suit, noting “the lawsuit does not restrict the ability of military personnel to cast their ballots early.”
But that didn’t stop Mitt from continuing to do the one thing he does so well: Lie. (That link leads you to some whoppers.)
By the way, Willard, weren’t you the one who demonstrated in favor of a Vietnam War draft but got a religious deferment? Why didn’t you add that to your supportive-of-military-service-members Facebook entry?
