Calling someone an “idiot” and “stupid” apparently wasn’t enough abuse for Chris Christie to spew in one week. No, he wasn’t content to stay out of the spotlight and needed to let off more hostile steam in order to get extra bonus attention. Why anyone with this many anger management problems is considered fit to hold office is beyond me.
The latest Moment of Nasty was caught by TMZ right out in public on the Jersey shore. Christie had gotten some ice cream and someone made some comments about his education policy. The governor doesn’t like criticism, so naturally, he defaulted to full-on offensive asshat mode:
“You’re a real big shot … you’re a real big shot shootin’ your mouth off.”
The man shouted back, “Nah, just take care of the teachers!“
[Christie] aggressively marched towards the guy and warned, “Keep walkin’ away … really good … keep walkin’.”
See there? Doesn’t that endearing little episode lend itself to all that bipartisan effort to just get along? How professional of Christie to, once again, look like the crass, out-of-control, blathering, irrational hothead he is.
I guess the notion of taking care of our teachers touched a nerve.
