Electoral Map Leans Heavily To President Obama

It’s early. It’s a snapshot. But it’s so much fun:

A survey by the Associated Press estimates that a combination of states that are solid or lean-Democratic gives Obama 242 electoral votes in the bank. Combining solid and lean-Republican states gives Romney 188 electoral votes.

In order to win, President Obama would need 270 electoral votes. In order for Willard Romney to have a chance, he’d need every swing state (Colorado, Florida, Iowa, New Hampshire, New Mexico, Nevada, North Carolina, Ohio and Virginia), but per National Confidential, those all went to Obama in 2008.

No wonder I’m getting bombarded by trolls on Twitter. It has to be that they’re feeling a little apprehensive, and who can blame them?

And no, I’m not feeling the least bit complacent. Voter suppression, super PACS, and irrational hatred of President Obama keeps me in check.
