So did you hear the one where Newton Leroy Gingrich said he would be getting the Big Donald Trump Endorsement? Yeah, me too! Here’s the punchline: Trump endorsed Willard Romney. The joke was on Newt.

Don’tcha hate when that happens? So does his press secretary R.C. Hammond:

Las Vegas, Nevada (CNN)A gaggle of frustrated reporters swarmed Newt Gingrich’s perpetually-exhausted traveling press secretary before the candidate’s Thursday morning event in Las Vegas, demanding to know why campaign advisers had erroneously informed various media outlets that business mogul and reality television star Donald Trump was set to endorse Gingrich. [...]

With a raft of digital audio recorders shoved in his face, Hammond refused to answer the questions.

“The only person who knows what Donald Trump is going to do today is Donald Trump,” he said, repeating the line at least five different times. [...]

I am not talking to you guys anymore,” he huffed. “I can only say the same thing 16 times…. I am already tired of you,” he said, brushing them off. “I need to take a nap.”

Oh my, R.C. was so miffed that he “huffed”! And now the poor wittle thing needs a nappy.

If this confusion and unprofessional behavior is any indication of what kind of national leader Newton would be if he were elected– and it is– and he won’t be– then no wonder Willard will be the Republican nominee. This whole race is a huge embarrassment.

Trump to Newt:

And why is Trump’s endorsement even a story and getting wall-to-wall coverage in the first place? President Obama owes these dimwits a debt of gratitude.
