What is so hard about getting permission before using someone else’s work for your campaign? Exhibits A-D:
- Oops! Tom Petty sends Michele Bachmann a cease-and-desist letter.
- Note to Gingrich from The Heavy: Cease and desist. How you like them now, Newt?
- Newt Gingrich sued for using ‘Eye of the Tiger’ in campaign
- NBC News Asks Romney Campaign to Remove Ad
Stepping on other people, exploitation, doing whatever they want–with no foresight– for personal gain… yup, that pretty much sums up the GOP.
And now this, via NewsOne:
NEW YORK— Rapper K’Naan is upset that Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney used his song “Wavin’ Flag” during his Florida primary victory speech.
He’s seeking legal action, because Willard’s campaign didn’t ask first, and he wouldn’t have said yes even if he had.
But guess who K’Naan would have given permission to. Go ahead, guess. Hint: Rhymes with Schmesident Schmobama.
