Mother Jones has more details in their post, which is a few months old, but worth another look considering who's leading in Iowa. I'll give you the bullet points only, but go here for the rest:

To name just a few of these politically dicey positions, President Ron Paul would like to...

1. Eviscerate Entitlements

2. Lay Off Half His Cabinet

3. Enable State Extremism re: women's reproductive rights, marriage equality, religion, etc.

4. Protect Sexual Predators' Privacy

5. Rescind the Bin Laden Raid

6. Simplify the "ludicrous" Census

7. Let the Oldest Profession Be

8. Legalize ALL Drugs

9. Keep Monopolies Intact

10. Lay Off Ben Bernanke

11. Stop Policing the Environment

12. Not Do Anything, but Still... Would not have voted for the Civil Rights Act of 1964

13. Let Markets Care for the Disabled (bye-bye American Disabilities Act)

14. First, Do Harm (re: emergency rooms)

15. Diss Mother Teresa

"5. Rescind the Bin Laden Raid"

How the hell you plan on doing that, Ron?  Bringing him back to life?

    "4. Protect Sexual Predators’ Privacy"
    "8. Legalize ALL Drugs"
"12. Not Do Anything, but Still… Would not have voted for the Civil Rights Act of 1964"

Sounds like Rush Limpballs' DREAM candidate . . .

Some of what he says may be reasonable but not at the expense of those truly in need.  When Paul starts his b.s. about letting all the different industries police themselves,  it indicates he's either hopelessly naive or doesn't give a damn about the country.   There was a reason for all those regulations that were needed to clean up the air we breathe and our waterways that were rampant with pollution from the runoff of factories nationwide.  Did those regulations help? Yes, but nowhere near enough and if left to their own devices, it will not only return but it will be worse than ever.

I know what you mean. That's why so many people are fooled, because some of what he believes is so reasonable. Some. I said... some.

I agree with 7, 8 & 15.  Too bad he comes with the others.
