Over yonder in Wisconsin (I'm in California), I'm happy to report that angry voters are well on their way to collecting the required number of signatures on petitions in order to force recall elections.
Why would they go to all that trouble? Well, Scott Walker's policies have contributed to Wisconsin's economic woes,, he's been less than honest, and he has been an abysmal governor who has done everything he can– with the help of his best corporate buddies, the Koch brothers– to crush unions, public education, decent health care, you name it.
Not to mention, he has his very own scandal.
And don't get me started on the GOP state senators who are also targets, like Scott Fitzgerald.
Apparently, that makes some very rude people very angry. Via the Cap Times:
Two Barneveld men were arrested Saturday in Iowa County for allegedly spitting on people gathering signatures on petitions to recall Gov. Scott Walker.
I see this as an incentive and fully anticipate increased momentum in signature gathering. Spit on that, Barneveld men.
