One of the bloggers at Rumproast, StrangeAppar8us, who they describe as the funniest, wittiest, most sarcastic of the bunch, has been severely disabled by a brain injury – at minimum he’s permanently blinded.  As he’s basically alone in this world with the exception of some good friends near his home and those at Rumproast (and basically as poor as the rest of the gang, if not more so), they’re running a fundraiser to assist however they can with some basic needs going forward.  He’s still in the hospital and will be using long-term nursing in the near future.
