(Reuters) – Celebrated lyricist Jerry Leiber, who partnered with composer Mike Stoller to write such iconic hits as “Hound Dog” and “Jailhouse Rock” and played a key role in the birth of rock ‘n’ roll, died on Monday at age 78.
