For some reason, a Tammy Bruce devotee has taken a shine to me on Twitter, and expressed her concern to me several times about the safety of our troops if money is cut from defense. Looks like she doesn't have to worry.

    Also, google the fine print on non-discretionary trigger cuts.  It says nothing about exempting medicare.  Where medicare is mentioned in the bill, it has some goobledegook about a 2% reduction that only a legislative lawyer could understand.
