George Bush with Nice Hair Rick Perry is in, per a GOP source who knows stuff.

Via the Wall St. Journal:

A Republican campaign veteran tells us that Texas Governor Rick Perry has decided to run for President, though the official word from Team Perry is still a definite maybe. [...]

The thinking is that apparent front-runner Mitt Romney "does not reflect the Republican Party" and is therefore vulnerable to a credible challenge from the right, especially after Mr. Romney's recent squishy remarks on global warming.

Speaking of "squishy", how's that I-really-didn't-mean-Texas-should secede thing workin' for ya, Rick?

"So you believe the Constitution is that which the federal government can do, that you agree with? In some respects. A little bit?"

"A little bit."

"Would you like to see, at some level, Texas as its own country, a little bit?"

"No... We'd just as soon stay with you guys."

Oh come on, Hairy Plotter, you know you already went there. So how about explaining, once and for all, exactly how one runs for president of a country one has expressed interest in seceding from?

He's expected to compete in the Iowa Straw Poll, and should announce later this summer.

Gee, all he needs now are voters and money. Maybe he can fund raise on Tweeter.

Here are the top 10 things Perry doesn’t want you to know about him.
