Hey Reince, shut your Priebus.
Debbie Wasserman-Schultz and Rachel Maddow are the only two (women)-- at least who I have noticed, there may be others-- calling out David Vitter and the blatant hypocrisy of the Republican party.
Here is Rachel Maddow's excellent segment doing just that. Remember, Republicans are still donating money to David Vitter, and they are still self-righteous blowhards who claim to own the phrase "family values". Please watch and listen to all she has to say. It is spot on:
And here is today's Reince Priebus moment of whateveritwasheunsuccessfullytriedtosay:
"It's the policy, stupid"? More like, it's the hypocrisy, stupid.
According to Priebus, it's mandatory (!!) to force Anthony Weiner out of office, yet Vitter's sexcapades are water under the bridge. After all, they were so 5 years ago.
And Reince, heads up: Ensign resigned because he saw a big, scary, looming legal battle coming within days. He didn't exactly rush to exit until he realized there was no way to avoid that pesky Senate report saying he violated the law.
There was apparently more to Chris Lee's story, too, so he skedaddled as fast as he could before more sordid details could emerge.
No, the GOPlayers were not being noble or "doing the right thing." They were scared.
Reince Priebus: Hypocridiot-O'-The-Day.
