Didja hear the one about the Chihuahua and the bomb scare? The Seattle Times did. See, there was this little dog who peed on someone’s backpack during a bus ride. Can you blame him? He was just a tiny thing with a tinier bladder on a long ride on a big bus.

The backpack’s owner was a 19-year-old named Melvin who was on his way to a New York courthouse. He stashed his peed-upon backpack in some nearby bushes while he was inside, but oops! A sharp-eyed retired cop spotted the bag and called security.

Stop me if you’ve heard this one before.

So anyway…

The bomb squad was ultimately called in. Officers used a robot to determine that the bag didn’t contain anything harmful.

Melvin got off with a warning. The Chihuahua probably got off with a scritch under the chin and a Snausage.

The only loser was the backpack.
