56.5 Million Watch Obama Address On Bin Laden’s Death

Good time to have killer ratings.

A total of 56.5 million people watched President Obama announce that Osama Bin Laden had been killed Sunday night, Nielsen says.

That makes it the most watched address of Obama’s Presidency, and the highest-rated since the start of the Iraq war in 2003.

As Brian Stelter reports in the NY Times, the only address Obama has delivered that has been seen by more people was the night he was elected President.

Aha! So President Obama was just saving this whole killing-bin-Laden thing for May Sweeps.

Did anybody else watch Brian Williams’ conversation with Panetta last night? Brian asked the same question three different way to get him to say that waterboarding was the source of the intel needed to get OBL, but Panetta did not actually say that. It’s all baloney, in my mind. I’m sure Williams was hoping to go on with the premise that BUSH’S tactics were responsible for the killing, just like all good little Right Wingers, but he didn’t get the opening.

Hurray for the President……but the truth twisting and lies are begining to get my goat. Those people are beyond ignorant and hateful.

    OK……I’m done. ;-)
