GOP Sen. Scott Brown opposes Planned Parenthood cuts

Rev up them Senate tea baggers, they've got their work cut out for them. You've gotcher Sen. Lisa Murkowski (R-Alaska) who opposes cutting off funding for Planned Parenthood. You've gotcher Sen. Susan Collins (R-Maine) who supports funding another family planning program. And now... (drum roll)...

Massachusetts Sen. Scott Brown (R) said Tuesday he does not support a GOP proposal to slash funding for Planned Parenthood, saying the cuts go too far.

There goes the neighborhood.

  • "GOP Sen. Scott Brown opposes Planned Parenthood cuts"

    Scotty, Scotty, Scotty . . .

    You'd better watch out -- the teabaggers are already mad at you for not having stopped HCR all by yourself {they said they're thinking of mounting a primary challenge against you in '12 due to you not being suffienciently wingnutty enough.}

    You keep this up, and you'll no longer be the former COSMO male centerfold the Fox Fembots gushed over {if Fox ever puts a "D" behind your name, it's all over for you}

    Dude's been my state's junior Senator for a year and I *still* can't figure out what to make of him. He's managing to be as close to a centrist as there is in the GOP, just a little to the right of Susan Collins and Olympia Snowe. I'm still unlikely to vote for him when he runs for re-election, but Brown is nowhere near as abysmal as I feared.

    I gotta say, New England Republicans are different. They're real people, capable of rational thought, and not absurdist caricatures in the mold of Kyl, Chambliss and Cornyn.

    You mean boyfriend. I mean what kind of straight man wears pink hot pants on a first date?

  • Well of course not! He has to have someplace to send his mistress when he knocks her up. /sarcasm
