The following account is from a Twitter friend of mine, Rebeccay:
January 28 2011 this is what we saw in Coeur d’alene Idaho … We were going to order something even tho we had just had lunch. We were going to show our support for the Mexican food stand workers.
The Aryan/KKK were protesting this Mexican food stand & had done the same thing the week before at another one that’s located across from the Pilgrim’s Health Food store on 4th. All of Pilgrim’s employees ate there that day even tho they have a restaurant inside, just to show support for the food stand workers.
There were many that kept stopping to show their support… the Mexican food stand was rocking with business! People were trying to reason with the haters, to no avail. The haters looked like weak, afraid fools and that is really just what they are.
Someone said they hoped they’d just grow up… I said I hoped they’d just grow WITHIN!
We apologized to the stand workder and told him not everyone thinks like those KKK types and not to let the hate get to them. I told him to think of it in the good positive light: You’re getting a ton of support & business!
Some teen boys showed up while we were there… two of them were black. I felt so bad for them having to see a large red KKK flag waving & haters walking up & down the walk.
We must not allow this disease to spread. We HAVE to speak up for the victims. Not against the haters as much as FOR the hated. Speak up every chance you get…and try to use kindness. Don’t resort to the haters ways of calling names & acting like idiots.
Oh, and one of the KKK guys said they moved out of CALIFORNIA, to north Idaho, to do this hatred thing… I said we got rid of your kind a few years ago when Buttler was here & kicked out…and we’ll do it again. This sort of hate is out the door…you watch. People are awakening. There are only a handful of your types left. You just scream louder, that’s all.
